We were honored to welcome delegates from Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), Japan, for a meeting focused on strengthening academic collaboration and exploring new opportunities for joint initiatives. The delegation was led by Dr. WAKAHARA Akihiro, President of TUT, together with Prof. Dr. KAWANO Takeshi, Professor at the Institute for Research on Next-Generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science, Ms. OKAZAKI Shino, Deputy Director of the General Affairs Division, and Mr. OMURA Hiroshi, Senior Coordinator of the Global Engagement Center.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the invitation for Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of KMITL, to attend TUT’s 50th Anniversary celebration on October 30, 2026, as well as opportunities for collaboration in semiconductor research and human resource development. The discussion also included an update on the progress of joint master’s degree education programs, reflecting the continued development of the partnership between KMITL and TUT.
KMITL was represented by Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President; Dr. Anuwat Jangwanitlert, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Witsarut Sriratana, Executive Vice President for Finance and Legal Affairs; Dr. Pitcha Prasitmeeboon, Vice President for International Affairs; Dr. Nattawoot Depaiwa, Dean of KOSEN-KMITL; and Mr. Pongsakorn Yingyongpaisanku, KOSEN-KMITL student and TUT Master’s student.
