We brought two exciting programs to the Main Stage at KMITL EXPO 2026 — the International Panel Talk “From Lab to Life” and two MoU Signing Ceremonies with Tokai University, Japan and the Institute of International Education (IIE), Southeast Asia.
At the International Panel Talk, experts from CMKL, KMITL, FIT, Tokai University, and HIT shared their ideas on how technology can move beyond the lab and make a real difference in people’s lives. The discussion highlighted the importance of working closely with industry, focusing on real human needs, and creating more support for researchers to turn their ideas into solutions that can be used in the real world. As the panel beautifully put it, “An idea becomes ‘life’ when someone outside the lab can rely on it.”
We also strengthened our international partnerships through two important MoU signings. With IIE, we are working together through the IIE Odyssey Scholarship Program to expand access to higher education for refugee and displaced students, with support covering tuition, accommodation, living and academic expenses, and mentorship. With Tokai University, we renewed our strategic academic exchange partnership for the next five years, supporting student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research, joint publications, and academic resource sharing.
