We were honored to welcome the delegation from the Employment and Industrial Human Resources Policy Division, Industry and Economics Bureau, City of Kitakyushu, Japan, along with representatives from Nihon Densokuki Co., Ltd., TONE ELECTRIC, INC., and At Career, Japan. The delegates visited KMITL to meet with students who successfully passed interviews for internships with Kitakyushu-based companies. This session served as a meaningful opportunity to connect, exchange insights, and strengthen collaboration between KMITL and Japanese industry partners.
After the meeting, the delegation was taken on a campus tour of KOSEN KMITL to explore the learning environment and innovation-driven spaces that support student development. The visit was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitcha Prasitmeeboon, Vice President of International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanoknuch Songsuwankit, Assistant Dean of International Affairs, School of Engineering; Asst. Prof. Dr. Kamol Wasapinyokul, Head of Department, School of Integrated Innovative Technology; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Teerayut Uwanno from the same school. The OIA team, including Miss Lalita Visitanupong, Director; Miss Khemthong Armart, Deputy Director; and Miss Duangkamon Hatsatanond, Outbound Student Exchange Coordinator, also warmly welcomed the delegation.
From the City of Kitakyushu, we were pleased to welcome Mr. Tamotsu Maruyama, Executive Director of the Regional Economic Improvement Promotion Department; Mr. Hirotaka Taguchi, Manager of the International Project Team; and Mr. Takayuki Doshita from the Employment and Industrial Human Resources Policy Division.
