We were honored to welcome delegates from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Japan, to discuss the JAIST Partner University Master Connection Program (JUMP) — an exciting outbound program for KMITL undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers.

The JAIST delegation included Prof. Dr. Yoshifumi Oshima, Dean of the School of Materials Science, and Prof. Dr. Kazuma Gotoh, Professor at the Center for Nano Materials and Technology.

KMITL was represented by Prof. Dr. Wisanu Pecharapa, Executive Vice President for Research and Innovations, along with lecturers and researchers from School of Integrated Innovative Technology.

Following the meeting, the JAIST delegates visited the School of Engineering to promote the JUMP program and met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somyot Kaitwanidvilai, Dean of the School of Engineering, and executives, followed by a tour of the Robotics and AI Laboratory.

The visit continued at the School of Science, where they met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aparporn Sakulkalavek, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation, and Academic Services, along with executives, to further discuss academic collaboration opportunities.
