We were honored to welcome a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for a courtesy visit and meeting with the President of KMITL, expressing appreciation for KMITL’s continued cooperation with JICA under the Thai-KOSEN and AUN/SEED-Net frameworks.
The JICA delegation was led by Ms. Mitsui Yuko, Senior Vice President, JICA Headquarters, together with Mr. Inoue Kazuma, Director, Human Development Department, JICA HQ; Ms. Sasagawa Chiaki, Human Development Department, JICA HQ; Ms. Komahasi Rie, Senior Representative, JICA Thailand Office; Mr. Miyoshi Katsuya, Representative, JICA Thailand Office; and Mr. Kinnukorn Satja, Program Officer, JICA Thailand Office.


KMITL executives were led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of KMITL, along with Prof. Dr. Wisanu Pecharapa, Executive Vice President for Research and Innovations; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitcha Prasitmeeboon, Vice President for International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nattawoot Depaiwa, Dean of KOSEN-KMITL; and Dr. Seiji KANO, Program Manager of KOSEN-KMITL. Following the meeting, the delegates were invited on a short campus tour.
This visit highlights the deep and long-standing partnership between KMITL and JICA, reaffirming our joint mission to advancing education, research, and global talent development.
