Assoc. Prof. Dr. Winadda Wongwiriyapan, Acting Deputy Dean of the College of Materials Innovation and Technology, and Ms. Lalita Visitanupong, Acting Director of International Affairs, visited the City of Kitakyushu and met with Dr. Katayama Kenichi, Deputy Mayor of the City of Kitakyushu. 
The visit included discussions on academic collaborations and visits to The 4th Wave Partners Co., Ltd., Mishima Kosen Co., Ltd., and EV Motors Japan Co., Ltd. These companies currently host 3 KMITL students for internships, with potential opportunities for full-time positions after graduation! 
KMITL executives also met with Prof. Dr. Eiji Hayashi, Deputy-Director of the Center for Future Society Implementation Robotics at Kyushu Institute of Technology, to explore further academic partnerships.
