We were delighted to welcome a delegation from National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan. NPUST team came to meet their Chinese language teacher, Miss Wang, Wei-Chih, who is currently teaching here through a project supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.

The delegation included Prof. Dr. Vincent Shih Ru-Chu, Dean of OIA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chung, Yu-Fei, Head of Chinese Language Division, and Dr. Pongsakorn Ngamsom from the OIA, along with Ms. Apiporn Chamnanpaison from the Taiwan Education Center Thailand.

Our OIA team, led by Ms. Lalita Visitanupong, Director of International Affairs, was happy to host the initial meeting.

The visit also included a fruitful knowledge exchange about Chinese language teaching with our School of Liberal Arts. The NPUST team met with the Liberal Arts team, welcomed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ekkarat Suwannakul, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, for a constructive discussion.

During their time with us, the delegates also visited the King Rama IV Memorial Park, toured the Chinese language classrooms, and held the detailed discussion meeting with the Chinese Department.
