We were honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from Beijing Sylincom Technology, including Dr. Ying Jiao Ma (Vice President) and Mr. Andy Chen (Chen Liangming) (Overseas Director of Marketing). Sylincom, a leader in communication chipset design and system applications, explored potential academic collaborations with KMITL in areas such as SparkLink, AI Robotics Platforms, and Satellite Technology.
The visit began with a discussion with executives from the International Academy of Aviation Industry (IAAI): Asst. Prof. Cr. Soemsak Yooyen (Dean), Dr. Jedsada Tipmontian (Executive Vice Dean), and their team. The delegation also met representatives from the School of Information Technology, KMITL, including Prof. Dr. Kitsuchart Pasupa (Deputy Dean) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Vorapat Sanguanchaipaiwong (Head of Subject Area).
Later, the delegation held a strategic meeting with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitcha Prasitmeeboon (Vice President for International Affairs), Prof. Dr. Uma Seeboonruang (Senior Vice Dean, School of Engineering), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Vorapat Sanguanchaipaiwong (Assistant Dean, School of Science). Delegates also enjoyed a brief meet-and-greet with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of KMITL, to discuss shared goals for future collaboration.
The visit concluded with a tour of the KMITL School of Engineering , where KMITL graduate students showcased innovative projects in the Robotics and AI Engineering Lab.
